Chess and Go are old games that have often been seen as
means for developing intelligence applicable to
one's life - so much so, that schools exist for
teaching people. In particular, one can send one's
child to a Go school in Japan where they study
Go from an early age at a full-time school. These
games have proven to be valuable metaphors for
conflict with others. However, they are more about
conquest and domination, than about any other
aspect of life. As such, their value has been
recognized - Go became a stand-in for individual
combat between Samuri as Japanese culture matured.
Admcadiam builds on this platform.
Evolution of games - Entertainment as realizing yourself and others.
As interactive portraits of life, Admcadiam games offer a much more scope for interaction than mere competition and the domination of others. Designed to explore new definitions of winning and losing, balancing choices and outcomes, they represent an evolution in game and the introduction of a new medium.
Paradice
is the first board game from Admcadiam. It is
the Flagship of the F2B series of games based
on how Humans respond to opportunities in their
pursuit of Happiness in nine different scenarios
of Life.
Each game is presented as an interactive metaphor for a different aspect of Human concern, expressed as a collection of beautiful symbolic pieces, and introduced by a fairy story or fable.
In these games, players compete for goals beneficial to both of them, continually changing roles, points of view and values in the process. Interacting in this way, players must eschew fixed attitudes, and in so doing, find them selves drawn closer to a common core not only between each other, but also within themselves, between their outer person and inner being. The games are intended to offer their users safe arenas that simulate real life to act out all aspects of who they are. Players get permission to play both sides of conflicting responses to opportunities, experience consequences and feel the emotions.
Admcadiam games are a fusion of art, entertainment and meditation designed to reconnect the Person and Being of their users by engaging the heart with Beauty, the Mind with strategy, and the Soul with a message that inspires.
Currently the F2B is being developed for the Art, Specialty game and Consciousness markets.

As a vehicle for Meditation.
Arrangement and rearrangement of the symbolic pieces, resulting from play or mere aesthetics, can be used to explore an ever expanding series of expressions of the Human situation. Configurations left out in mid play can re-induce the realizations and insights they presented or inspired during play.
Arranged aestheticaly or randomly users need only know the meaning of the pieces to be stimulated by their combinations on the presentation platform.
As a vehicle for Art.
Insight into the creation of Art can emerge during
games that allow players a glimpse of the steps
to discovery and solution generally reserved for
the artist originating an art work in the privacy
of a studio. The arrangements and rearrangement
of pieces that result from interaction, allows
players to enjoy responsibility as creators of
the sculptures born from the decisions they make.
